Jedi Policies and Beliefs and The Jedi Code

The follow information has been taken from both clans of the Jedi Knights. Both reflect the Clans beliefs, rules and Policies. The main idea behind the Jedi Knights is to get together with other players and have fun, make friends, and hopefully make runescape a better place. We, the rules and policies, are just a general idea on how you should act. The minor infraction is alright. We all have bad days. But constant infractions can lead to a review of your status as a Jedi Knight. Breaking certain rules can lead to an immidate discharge and other possible actions. These rules are pretty much here to give you the Basic idea on what we are about.

Jedi Clan Policies : The Ideals of the Clan

- HONOR ALL JEDI: This includes (but is not limited to) no PKing, scamming, hacking, impoliteness, or refusal to reasonable aid. If a Jedi needs something that is perfectly reasonable for you to provide, then supply it. If a Jedi does good towards you, return the favor as closely possible. Never insult other Jedi, they are your kin! Do not create mistrust to the Jedi Order by hacking, scamming, or lying. NEVER betray a fellow Jedi in the wilderness or when in need of aid. Treachery is defined as attacking or abandoning other Jedi. Honor the code of mutual benefit and do not horde things that you gain with the assistance of other Jedi.

- OBEY MENTORS AND SUPERIORS: If a Jedi Knight or Master is taking the time to teach you the art of RuneScape, follow their instruction (with the exception of suspicious looking instructions, like to tell your password, give them a valuable item for free or an unusually low price, or attack them in the wilderness). They can lead you to greatness. Follow the rules and instructions of trusted Jedi council members and above. It is also considered disobedience to be member of another clan. However, you may form a small sub-clan with the High Master's permission.

- TEACH STUDENTS AFFECTIVELY: Only a Jedi Knight or Master can accept a Jedi student (called a Jedi Padawan) into their teaching. Only teach Padawans the things necessary or helpful to their RuneScape advancement. Teach a student what they want to be taught. Do not neglect or ignore a Padawan learner.

The Jedi Code : A reflection from the past

The Following is the Jedi Code drafted on this date (Dec 15th 2001) in which shall be the governing principals of the Runescape Order of Jedi Knights. Its here to give you an idea on what this clan was founded on, these rules should also be kept in mind as an idea on what this clan is about.

1: The sword of a jedi is there to protect. A jedi may only kill in protection of ones self or another (A jedi may not kill for no reason.)

2: A Jedi's duty is to uphold honor, fight evil, and protect the innocent. (Jedi exist to fight the evils of runescape (random pking, scamming, cheating, and general dishonor nin runescape.) and should act if such is witnessed.)

3: A Jedi is expected to act with honor in his/her's journeys. (Don't act to stupid and and cause trouble, you should not badger or pick on people that are weaker than you. also try to treat others with respect, there are thought some people who do not deserve to be treated with respect and those may be treated as you wish, and try not to range other peoples targets without permission. but if you where shooting at the target first you can keep on shooting.)

4: A jedi must try to help those in need as long as the requests are reasonable. (the use of this rule will be left up to the jedi's discretion)

5: A jedi should always help out another member in need. ( Such as aid in training, armor production, and food production. But again as long as the requests are reasonable. If a member is making unreasonable requests please bring it to the attention of a council member. We don't want to be giving free stuff away consistently.)

6: A master with a apprentice should take training of there apprentice to be a high priority and not neglect there training. ( help you apprentice, But don't do everything for them, they must learn it for them selves.)

7: A apprentice should be mindful and listen to there masters. (your master have more experience in runescape and you should listen to them)

8: A Jedi is expected to honor the chain of command (obey those that have higher ranks than you)

9: A Jedi must never scam or steal from another, or use a cheat or mod program.(don't scam or steal or cheat!! looting from corpses is alright though)

10: A Jedi may not incite nor create hostilities that will lead to war unless doing so was part of code 1 or 2 (A jedi must not to incite war and keep the peace....unless the other is in violation of code one or two)

11: A jedi should try to get along with and respect fellow members. (try not to fight with you comrades in the clan please.)

12: A jedi must never kill another jedi. (this is the most important rule! if broken the killer will be discharged and marked as an enemy of the jedi)

13: A Jedi should wear the uniform of a Jedi Knights at all clan Meetings. (Uniform is Robes(top and bottom) any color, Med Helmet(any type). Weapon, gloves, and boots are optional.)

14: A jedi must be fully committed to the jedi knights. ( A jedi may not join more than one clan) If someone who is in more than one clan wishes to join the jedi knights the following restrictions will be placed. The Jedi will not be able to participate in any clan activities (Unless permitted by the council). The jedi may not participate in a department. The Jedi is not to be included in any rewards for jedi knights unless it is spoils gathered by himself. The Jedi may not excel past the rank of knight.)

The Uniform : A reflection of Beliefs

- JEDI WARDROBE: The choice uniform of a Jedi is plain brown monk robes. If you need or want a set contact myself or another Jedi with prayer 31+. Also, wear the cape of your beliefs (see CAPE COLORS AND DEFINITIONS below). NOTE: Uniforms are optional, but suggested.

- CAPE COLORS AND DEFINITIONS: Jedi use different capes to express their category and emotions. Each color means something different.

The Jedi categories are PROTECTION, LIFE, and PEACE. Here's a more in depth description.

CASTE CAPES: Blue: Signifies belief in the protection of the innocent, weak, or friend in need.
Green: Signifies belief in life and its preservation.
Purple: Signifies belief in peace and all that give value to life.

EXPRESSIONAL CAPES:
Red: Angry or seeking vengeance.
Black: Mourning or facing tragedy.
Yellow: Seeking happiness or riches.

OTHER CAPES:
Orange: The cape of war. Wear this when PKing or at war with an enemy clan.
White: Shows power, experience, and wisdom beyond the highest of kings.

Like monk robes, capes are an option. However, I deeply recommend that you wear the the appropriate cape, for that is how other Jedi will often judge you on first impression. 1
